Lisa Maas was born in Switzerland (which may explain her fondness for cheese, chocolate, and train rides) and now lives on the land of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations** on the west coast of British Columbia in Canada.
She is an author and illustrator who enjoys reading books, reading fanfiction, reading the room, eating, napping and full on sleeping. She may in fact be a cat.
She is currently learning how to knit, and is saying yes to things that scare her.
